How’s it going everyone? Today I would like to introduce a new feature here on DUI, one that will hopefully gain as much popularity as Friday Focus previously had over on Devlounge. The DUI daily dose is going to be much of the same as Friday Focus was, but better. Each day (Monday through Friday) I’ll rundown the coolest new stuff on the net. What’s good, what’s bad, and everything in between. Some sections will vary each day, so hopefully I’ll always be able to keep things interesting. Sites showcased in the DUI Daily dose will be rated in beers (1 the lowest, 5 the highest), since after all this site is called DUI.
So for this week, the DUI dose will only be here for today. Next week the full fledged 5 day a week marathon will begin. And don’t expect this to be the only content as well. Plenty of other stuff is on the way. Another important thing to note - DUI Daily works the best when there is reader response, so please feel free to share your thoughts on anything mentioned here each and every day. Future renditions will be a lot longer than this one, so please excuse this rushed version (it’s a Friday night, c’mon).
House 4 Kids is a kick ass flash site by BUUHOUSE Interactive. It’s an interactive 3D world for a UK Kindergarten brand, and it looks pretty damn sweet. 4/5 beers from me.
When you do work for Coldplay, you deserve to be on the DUI site list. This is Tim is the portfolio Tim Resudek, a “designer-slash-developer” who has done so pretty clean looking work. Most notably (and recently), a viral campaign for Coldplay and a free concert at Madison Square Garden. Cool stuff to say the least.
My buddy Prash who originally helped me with Devlounge and who I have worked with on a number of projects is getting ready to launch Exender in the coming months. To be truly honest, even I don’t know all that much about the product yet. All I know is that it’s supposed to be another analysis service, but what makes Exender different is that it is aimed at helping you get a much better idea of how your advertisements placed on various sites are working. I’m supposed to be getting a tracking code to use on some Market Theme ads in the coming days, and I plan on writing up a little preview article once I get to see for myself what Exender is all about. Prash has never managed to disappoint which is why Exender makes todays Radar Watch.
