DUI is a design blog filled with articles and information. Despite the name, this is not your local AA.

From the sweltering (5th 90+ degree day) DUI headquarters its the second ever DUI Daily Dose. Please excuse the lack of (actual) content over the last few days. I’m working on it, I swear. Enough is enough though, so let’s get to the days daily wrap.
Leading off is the portfolio of Alessandro Cavallo. I’m a sucker for that drawn / worn out effect. This site pulls it off. While there’s not a lot of work up there right now, this might just be a “On The Rise” interview candidate in the near future. You’ll just have to wait and see.
It’s always nice when you see a site design that really catches your eye. When you see one that catches you eye and does it all for a good cause, that’s even nicer. The global oneness project does just that in a super-clean manner. Check it out.
Anyone seen Batman yet? Plenty of other millions have, bringing in the best ever weekend opening in box office history. I’m hitting it up tonight, possibly a mini review in the DUI Daily dose for tomorrow. It looks pretty sick, so I’m expecting big things from it. Also there’s two shows you should definitely check out on USA if you haven’t yet. I’m usually not that big with watching tv in the summer, but both Psych and Burn Notice are two of my favorite shows out there. So much better than gladiators and talent shows and all the other shit on tv during the summer.
