DUI Daily: 8/1/08 general

Welcome to August. Just a couple random tidbits tonight to kick off the month of August and wrap up this weeks dui daily dose sessions. Sorry to be so late on the post today, it was a very busy day and night. Unfortunately, I have yet to get started on my own promise of having these things written in a day in advance.

A look into Wordpress 2.7 Features - via Weblogtoolscollection
If you glance down at your Wordpress dashboard at all, you’ve probably already seen and checked out this link. Weblogtoolscollection have posted a link of some features in the works for Wordpress 2.7, currently due in November. A lot of what is being added can already be accomplished with plugins, but Wordpress will have many of these new features built in such as sitemaps and threaded comments.

How to create a graphic design portfolio - via Attitude Design
Former interviewee of mine Matt Davies’ newest post. Saw it on Stylegala. Only glanced over it, as it’s nearing midnight and I’m a bit too tired, but I’m sure when I read it tomorrow I’ll find something I like about it. Matt is an awesome guy and I’m sure without even reading it yet that this post will be worth it.
