The Internet is full of marketing and search engine optimisation firms who all claim to be able to get your website to rank where you want it to with a mixture of many weird and wonderful techniques. But who can you trust? Who can really take your website to the top of the search results pages for your desired keyword or phrase? This is a question that most of us ask when looking to hire an SEO to work on our site. The good news is that when you hire a professional SEO company, if they have a good reputation in getting other clients websites ranked, the chances are they can do the same for you or your business. For me personally, I always check or at least ask for information on some of their other clients so I can see where they are ranking for certain keywords. If they rank highly, I will then know that the SEO firm can back up their claims. It’s also good to see what keywords and phrases the SEO company is targeting with their own site also. If they can rank well for highly competitive marketing phrases on the likes of Google, you can be sure they’ll be able to do the same for your phrases also.
